About Status Lark
Status Lark is a free tool for working out how much airline elite status a flight will earn you. Tell it a route, a programme and a cabin, and it estimates the Tier Points, Status Credits or Loyalty Points you would collect — so you can compare options before you book, plan a status run, or just understand why two similar flights earn very differently.
Why it exists
Frequent flyer earning is needlessly hard to predict. The rules differ by airline, by route, by cabin, and by the exact booking class on your ticket — and they change often. Most travellers end up guessing. Status Lark turns that guesswork into a quick, transparent calculation, with our methodology published in full.
Our principles
- Privacy first. No accounts, no login, no cookies, no third-party trackers or ad networks; any sponsored content is clearly labelled. We do not collect personal information. See our privacy policy.
- Transparent. Every figure is an estimate, every page shows when it was last verified, and every programme page links to the airline's official source.
- Independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Oneworld, SkyTeam, Star Alliance, or any airline. Trademarks belong to their owners.
Coverage
Status Lark covers all three global alliances — Oneworld, SkyTeam and Star Alliance — spanning 50 loyalty programmes, from British Airways, Qantas and Cathay Pacific to Flying Blue, Delta SkyMiles, Miles & More, KrisFlyer and United MileagePlus. Oneworld earning rules are the most deeply verified; coverage of the other alliances is refined continuously as we verify more earning rules and routes.
