Elite status you already hold can often be carried across. These are the published offers we hold — who runs each one, what it costs, how long you have to apply, and how long the status you get actually lasts. Those last two are different clocks, and we never merge them.

    Repeat Per-campaign cap of one ("Only 1 status match per person will be permitted under this campaign matching to Platinum, Gold or Silver tiers") plus a forward lifetime bar ("Members that are approved for a Status Match will not be eligible for any potential subsequent Status Match with Flying Blue").

    Conditions The operator's footnote to every Platinum cell says Platinum is not available to residents of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Hong Kong, Taiwan or China and that “Gold is the highest tier that may be offered”, which contradicts its fee table (Platinum at USD 399, only Brazil carved out). The page does not say which is right, so check before paying for Platinum from Argentina or Chile. A top-tier source may elect Gold instead of Platinum at the lower fee.

    Where Region-scoped: the UK does not appear in any region table, live or recently ended. The nine Latin American countries are Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.     What you must do Within the 90-day trial, earn base points on flights marketed by Alaska or Hawaiian and operated by Alaska, Hawaiian, Horizon or SkyWest: 5,000 for Silver, 10,000 for Gold, 20,000 for Platinum. “Codeshare flights operated by other airlines, flights on Alaska Global Partners, award travel, and bonus points do not count toward keeping your status. Saver fares booked in X class are excluded.”

    Conditions The status you match from must have been earned through actual flight miles or segments: status granted through credit card activity, transferred points or any other promotional offer is not eligible.     What you must do Within the 90-day trial, earn Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQDs) on Delta flights: Silver $1,250, Gold $2,500, Platinum $3,750. “You may only extend the same or lower Medallion Tier as the Tier you were originally matched to.” Delta lists other ways to earn MQDs; we do not describe them here.

    Repeat Not open if you enrolled in, matched to or earned Medallion status through Status Match, promotional Medallion offers or Complimentary Medallion Status at any time during 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026. The source status must also have been earned “through that airline's published requirements (complimentary Status or Status earned through a promotion does not qualify)”.

    Conditions The match is offered only for Silver, Gold and Platinum Medallion; Diamond and Delta 360 cannot be matched.

    Where Delta publishes no residence rule on the offer page, so we cannot say whether it is open outside the United States. Read the offer's own terms before applying from elsewhere.

    Proof Eligibility, as published: “a SkyMiles Member who 1) has been enrolled in the SkyMiles Program for at least 30 days prior to enrolling for the Status Match offer and 2) within the last 3 years as a SkyMiles Member have flown on at least 1 Delta-marketed flight on a fare class higher than Delta Main Basic.” Approval takes up to 15 business days and may be declined.

    What you must do 6 paid nights within the 90-day trial keeps Gold; 12 nights within the same window upgrades to Diamond.

    Repeat Hilton publishes two different wordings, and neither page defers to the other. Help centre: “This benefit is available only once to Members who are currently at Base or Silver tier and have not enrolled in Status Match. Gold and Diamond Members are already experiencing the benefits that come with the elite Hilton Honors status; therefore, these requests will not be processed.” Landing page: “Members are eligible to participate in the Hilton Honors B2B Status Match once per year” and “Members who already have Hilton Honors Diamond status are not eligible for this offer.” So a Gold member is barred on one page and eligible once a year on the other; read both before applying.

    Proof “Submit your programme and stay proof of another competing loyalty programme. The proof of stay must be within the last 24 months.” That is a stay requirement, stricter than a status screenshot. The landing page adds: “Only elite statuses from another hotel loyalty program that are listed in the status dropdown menu are eligible for status matching” and “Reward stays do not count toward achieving the status match requirements.”

    Conditions Enrich runs the match alongside normal qualification: you keep earning Elite Points during the twelve months, and afterwards your Enrich tier changes automatically to the highest tier you earned through Elite Points during the match. The Elite Points counter resets on 1 January even mid-match, so a match that spans a year boundary gives two partial qualification years. Platinum Companion Privilege does not apply to status-matched Platinum members.

    Repeat Two separate clauses: "(I) Only 1 status match per person will be permitted under this campaign matching to either Royal Club Gold Sparrow or Silver Jay tiers." AND a forward lifetime bar — "(XI) Members that are approved for a status match will not be eligible for any potential subsequent status match with Royal Club."

    Conditions The status you match from must have been earned on merit through flying: applications using temporary status or challenges may not be approved, and StatusMatch.com declines any application it believes is chain-matched from another programme or not earned on merit. Upgrade vouchers are withheld until the tier is qualified for. Presenting a Royal Club number for oneworld recognition on a partner airline sends that flight to Royal Club, and “Once credited, such mileage is final and cannot be removed, reversed, transferred, or credited to another frequent flyer program” — so a member who normally credits British Airways or Qatar Airways loses those miles for the duration of the match, and the fee is not the whole price. Matches are application-only and not guaranteed.

Frequently asked questions

What is a status match?

An offer that grants you elite status in one loyalty programme on the strength of status you already hold somewhere else. Three shapes appear here. A match hands over the tier outright. A challenge grants it on trial and takes it back unless you fly or stay enough within a set window. A fast track shortens the ordinary qualification requirement, usually for holders of a particular credit card. The difference matters, so every offer on this page is labelled with which one it is.

Why does every offer show two dates?

Because an offer has two independent clocks and conflating them is the commonest way to get this wrong. The apply window is how long you have to put an application in; most offers publish none at all and simply reserve the right to end at any time. The granted validity is how long the status you receive then lasts, and it comes in quite different shapes — twelve months from approval, a fixed calendar date shared by everyone regardless of when they matched, or a rule with no date in it whatsoever. We show each clock as its publisher states it rather than normalising them into one span.

Who runs the paid offers, and do you take a commission?

Several airline matches are administered by StatusMatch.com, an independent operator that is not the airline and is not us. The fees shown are the operator's own, quoted from its published terms on the date we checked, and they change without notice. Status Lark earns no commission, referral fee or other payment from any offer listed here, and no offer has paid for its placement. We list free airline-run offers and paid third-party ones side by side on exactly the same terms.

Why do some offers say no residence gate is published?

Because none is. Residence eligibility has three honest states, not two: an offer may publish a list of countries that includes the UK, publish one that excludes it, or say nothing about where you live at all. We show all three distinctly. Where nothing is published we say so rather than reading it as a yes or a no — and if you live outside the UK, read the geography note on the offer's card and the operator's own terms behind it.

Why do you still show offers that have ended?

Because these offers recur. Several run as annual waves, and a reader who half-remembers one is better served by being told it closed on a particular date than by finding nothing and assuming they looked in the wrong place. Ended offers appear under their own heading, clearly separated from what is live, and never in the matcher results.

Why is an offer shown as a waitlist when its terms are still online?

Because a published terms page is not an open offer. An operator can leave every fee, date and country list online while its application page offers only a waitlist, and that is exactly how a closed offer gets mistaken for a live one. We check the application route, not just the terms, and record what it says separately from the two clocks. A waitlisted offer keeps its published figures on the page, under its own heading, and never appears in the matcher as a route you can act on today.

Why does an offer list no source programmes?

Because we have not yet transcribed its published mapping, not because nothing qualifies. A few offers publish their source tiers as a long selector rather than a table, and we would rather say the mapping is missing than invent one.
