What does this tool do?
Enter the flights you have booked (or are considering) and it compares every frequent flyer programme those flights could be credited to — showing what each would earn in its own status currency, ranked by how far the itinerary takes you toward airline lounge-access status.
What is the Lark Score?
A normalised percentage: the status credits your flights earn divided by the credits a brand-new member needs, from zero, to reach the tier that grants alliance-wide lounge access (Oneworld Sapphire, SkyTeam Elite Plus or Star Alliance Gold). Because it is a percentage of each programme's own requirement, it lets you compare programmes whose raw currencies — Tier Points, XP, Status Credits — are otherwise incomparable.
Why do some programmes show no score?
Where a programme's tier thresholds are unconfirmed or not comparable (for example thresholds published in kilometres, or programmes being restructured), we show the programme with an honest explanation instead of inventing a score.
Why am I asked for a sector fare on some flights?
Some programmes — including The British Airways Club, Iberia Club, AAdvantage, Finnair Plus, Delta SkyMiles, United MileagePlus and Aeroplan — earn status credits from the fare you pay rather than the distance you fly. The fare field only appears when at least one comparable programme needs it for that flight; if no programme does, you are never asked.
Can I really credit a flight to any of these programmes?
A flight can normally be credited to the operating airline's own programme or a partner programme in the same alliance, subject to the fare's earning eligibility. The comparison shows an honest zero where a programme has no earning rule for your carrier. Always confirm crediting rules with the programme before you fly.
