Azul Fidelidade status tiers and pontos qualificáveis thresholds
Azul Fidelidade is the loyalty programme of the Brazilian airline Azul. Azul is not a member of Oneworld, SkyTeam or Star Alliance, so there is no alliance-wide status recognition: the benefits that apply are the ones Azul Fidelidade publishes.
Members join at the Azul Fidelidade level and move up through Topázio, Safira, Diamante and Diamante Unique within a calendar year. The published routes are pontos qualificáveis (qualifying points), trechos qualificáveis (qualifying segments), for the top two levels a Gasto Aéreo (spend on Azul-operated flights and extra travel services, in reais), and certain Azul products. The table below sets out the points figures and what the top two levels also need.
Azul Fidelidade tiers
Pontos qualificáveis, trechos qualificáveis and Gasto Aéreo count over the calendar year, 1 January to 31 December, both to reach a level and to keep it. The counters return to zero at the start of each year.
| Tier | pontos qualificáveis required from zero | To retain |
|---|---|---|
| Topázio | 6,000 | Same as to reach |
| Safira | 10,000 | Same as to reach |
| Diamante | 12,000 | Same as to reach |
| Diamante Unique | 26,000 | Same as to reach |
Keeping a tier is a different bar from reaching it. The last column is what Azul Fidelidade publishes for a member who already holds the tier, over a qualification window of the same length as the reaching figure’s (the window above says how it is anchored). “Same as to reach” means Azul Fidelidade says the same figure that reaches the tier keeps it. A dash means no retention figure comparable with the reaching one is shown for that rung, not that renewal is automatic; where the programme publishes one over a different window, its note gives it.
Requirements beyond the threshold
- Diamante — At least 12 trechos qualificáveis (qualifying segments on Azul-operated flights) as well, unless you qualify on R$ 25,000 of Gasto Aéreo instead.
- Diamante Unique — At least 26 trechos qualificáveis (qualifying segments on Azul-operated flights) as well, unless you qualify on R$ 50,000 of Gasto Aéreo instead.
These apply in addition to the pontos qualificáveis figure, so reaching the number alone does not confer the tier.
Topázio and Safira can also be reached with 6 or 10 trechos qualificáveis (qualifying segments on Azul-operated flights) instead of the points. Diamante and Diamante Unique need 12 or 26 trechos as well as the points, or instead a Gasto Aéreo (spend on Azul-operated flights and extra travel services) of R$ 25,000 or R$ 50,000. This calculator measures pontos qualificáveis only: on Azul flights you earn 1 per R$ 1.00 spent, and Clube Azul and Azul Itaú card points count at 10 to 1. Azul also grants levels through certain Azul Itaú credit cards and Clube Azul plans, with their own validity rules; this calculator does not model those. Azul One is a separate group joined by invitation only.

Frequently asked questions
- How do Azul Fidelidade levels work?
- Azul counts your qualifying points, qualifying segments and air spend from 1 January to 31 December. Topázio and Safira need either the points or the segments. Diamante and Diamante Unique need both the points and the segments, or instead a set Gasto Aéreo: spend on Azul-operated flights and extra travel services.
- How do you keep an Azul Fidelidade level?
- By meeting the same requirements again within a calendar year: the Regulamento gives one set of figures to reach or keep a level, and the counters return to zero each January. Azul's pages we hold do not describe what happens if you fall short in more detail.
- What is Azul One?
- A separate, exclusive group of customers. Azul invites members to it once a year, based on how much and how they fly with Azul; Azul publishes no threshold for it.
- Can Status Lark calculate how many qualifying points a flight earns?
- Not yet. Azul Fidelidade is not one of the programmes our earning calculator models, so this page covers the level ladder only. The tier-progress calculator works from the qualifying points you already hold.
Azul is not a member of Oneworld, SkyTeam or Star Alliance, so Azul Fidelidade status brings only the benefits the programme itself publishes.
