TrueBlue status tiers and tiles thresholds
TrueBlue is JetBlue's loyalty scheme, and Mosaic is its status. JetBlue is not a member of Oneworld, SkyTeam or Star Alliance, so there is no alliance-wide status recognition: the benefits that apply are the ones JetBlue publishes.
TrueBlue membership is the entry level and has no threshold. Mosaic runs from Mosaic 1 to Mosaic 4 and is earned in tiles over one calendar year: 50, 100, 150 and 250. Tiles come from spend, and they reset every 1 January. The table below sets out the published figures.
TrueBlue tiers
Calendar year: tiles are earned from 1 January to 31 December and reset to zero on 31 December. Mosaic status then lasts for the rest of the year you earn it, the whole of the following calendar year and through 31 January of the year after that (that is, to 31 January of the second year after the year you qualify), under the TrueBlue Terms and Conditions. JetBlue's Mosaic page rounds this to the end of the following calendar year.
| Tier | tiles required from zero | To retain |
|---|---|---|
| Mosaic 1 | 50 | Same as to reach |
| Mosaic 2 | 100 | Same as to reach |
| Mosaic 3 | 150 | Same as to reach |
| Mosaic 4 | 250 | Same as to reach |
Keeping a tier is a different bar from reaching it. The last column is what TrueBlue publishes for a member who already holds the tier, over a qualification window of the same length as the reaching figure’s (the window above says how it is anchored). “Same as to reach” means TrueBlue says the same figure that reaches the tier keeps it. A dash means no retention figure comparable with the reaching one is shown for that rung, not that renewal is automatic; where the programme publishes one over a different window, its note gives it.
Tiles come from spend, not from miles or segments: 1 tile for every USD 100 of qualifying spend on JetBlue travel (flights, on the base fare only, and many extras and fees, JetBlue Vacations and TrueBlue Travel) and 1 tile for every USD 1,000 of eligible spend on a JetBlue credit card. JetBlue says travel spend and card spend are not combined towards any single whole tile; whole tiles from each are added together. Taxes, government fees and travel insurance do not count. Tiles reset on 1 January with no rollover, and JetBlue publishes no flight minimum and no soft landing. JetBlue lets members buy tiles but the stored pages give no price, so this calculator does not price them. The numbers below are tiles in one calendar year, not spend.

Frequently asked questions
- How do you earn tiles for JetBlue Mosaic?
- JetBlue gives 1 tile for every USD 100 of qualifying spend on JetBlue travel (flights, many extras and fees, JetBlue Vacations and TrueBlue Travel) and 1 tile for every USD 1,000 of eligible spend on a JetBlue credit card. Flights count on the base fare only, and taxes, government fees and travel insurance are excluded. The two kinds of spend are not combined towards a single whole tile, though whole tiles from each are added together.
- How long does Mosaic status last?
- Under the TrueBlue Terms and Conditions, status lasts for the rest of the year you earn it, all of the following calendar year and through 31 January of the year after that, so status runs to 31 January of the second year after the year you qualify. JetBlue's Mosaic page says only "through the end of the following calendar year", and the Terms govern.
- Do tiles carry over, and what does it take to keep Mosaic?
- No. Tiles reset to zero at the end of each calendar year and nothing rolls over. The Terms say a member must qualify each calendar year on the tiles earned from 1 January to 31 December, so you re-qualify on the same thresholds in Terms section 10.1 (Terms 10.2). JetBlue does not publish a separate figure to keep a tier, or a soft landing.
- Can Status Lark calculate how many tiles a booking earns?
- No. TrueBlue is not one of the programmes our earning calculator models, so this page covers the Mosaic ladder only. The tier-progress calculator works from the tiles you already hold, as your TrueBlue dashboard shows them.
JetBlue is not a member of Oneworld, SkyTeam or Star Alliance, so TrueBlue status brings only the benefits the programme itself publishes.
