- Level 2 Good Friend
- 5,000 qualification points in one member year (12 months from the day of joining to the last day of the month a year later; points and nights expire at its end). Level 1 New Friend is the entry level. A level reached is kept for the rest of that member year and the next (Scandic Friends FAQ); a member is downgraded at most one level per member year, and the same figures apply to keep a level.
- Level 3 Close Friend
- 10,000 qualification points in one member year (12 months from the day of joining to the last day of the month a year later; points and nights expire at its end). A level reached is kept for the rest of that member year and the next (Scandic Friends FAQ); a member is downgraded at most one level per member year, and the same figures apply to keep a level.
- Level 4 Dear Friend
- 25,000 qualification points in one member year (12 months from the day of joining to the last day of the month a year later; points and nights expire at its end). A level reached is kept for the rest of that member year and the next (Scandic Friends FAQ); a member is downgraded at most one level per member year, and the same figures apply to keep a level.
- Level 5 Loyal Friend
- 100,000 qualification points in one member year (12 months from the day of joining to the last day of the month a year later; points and nights expire at its end). A level reached is kept for the rest of that member year and the next (Scandic Friends FAQ); a member is downgraded at most one level per member year, and the same figures apply to keep a level.
- Level 6 True Friend
- 250,000 qualification points in one member year (12 months from the day of joining to the last day of the month a year later; points and nights expire at its end). A level reached is kept for the rest of that member year and the next (Scandic Friends FAQ); a member is downgraded at most one level per member year, and the same figures apply to keep a level.
- Level 7 Best Friend
- 400,000 qualification points OR 100 qualifying nights in one member year (12 months from the day of joining to the last day of the month a year later; points and nights expire at its end). A level reached is kept for the rest of that member year and the next (Scandic Friends FAQ); a member is downgraded at most one level per member year, and the same figures apply to keep a level.

- Which points should I enter?
- Qualification points earned in your current member year. Non-qualification points, such as those earned through partners or the Scandic Friends MasterCard, do not count towards a level, and spending points does not reduce your progress.
- Do nights count towards every level?
- No. Qualifying nights count towards Best Friend, Level 7, only, as an alternative to its qualification points.
