MeliáRewards
MeliáRewards, the programme of Meliá Hotels International, has four levels in its terms: White, which every member starts at, then Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each higher level is reached on completed stays, nights or MeliáRewards Points, whichever you meet first, and there is no spend threshold.
Status runs for thirteen months from the date you obtained the level, not a calendar year. Meet the conditions earlier and you move up at once and the thirteen months restart; miss them and you drop one level. Meliá does not publish whether the counts before your first level are limited to a window, or any rollover. Status Lark shows the published thresholds and how far you are from each.
Elite tiers
| Tier | Qualification |
|---|---|
| Silver | 5 nights or 2 stays or 10,000 meliárewards points |
| Gold | 30 nights or 15 stays or 60,000 meliárewards points |
| Platinum | 50 nights or 30 stays or 150,000 meliárewards points |
- Silver
- 2 stays OR 5 nights OR 10,000 MeliáRewards Points, any one of them. Silver is the one above White, the entry level (no threshold). Thirteen months from the date the level was obtained, not a calendar year (T&Cs 10.2); an upgrade takes effect when the conditions are met and restarts the 13 months. Miss the same conditions at the end and you drop one level. The period is stored as membership_year, the closest allowed value. Retain with the same conditions.
- Gold
- 15 stays OR 30 nights OR 60,000 MeliáRewards Points, any one of them.
- Platinum
- 30 stays OR 50 nights OR 150,000 MeliáRewards Points, any one of them.

Frequently asked questions
- Does MeliáRewards have a Platinum for Life level?
- Not as a level in the terms, which define four categories. Platinum for Life is a lifetime advantage that needs ten consecutive 12-month periods at Platinum from January 2013, five hundred nights and a validation by Meliá. It is not calculated here, and Meliá's levels page counts it as a fifth level.
- How long does a MeliáRewards level last?
- Thirteen months from the date you obtained it. Meeting the conditions of a higher level before then upgrades you immediately and restarts the thirteen months. If you do not meet your level's conditions at the end, you move down one level.
- Which stays, nights and points count?
- Completed and paid stays and nights count, including stays paid for with points. Purchased, promotional and discretionary points, gift cards, celebrations and transfers do not, and stays on consecutive dates at the same hotel count as one. Meliá's levels page says booked nights; its terms govern and count nights stayed.
