Aer Lingus AerClub status tiers and Tier Credits thresholds
Aer Lingus AerClub is the loyalty programme of Aer Lingus. Aer Lingus is not a member of Oneworld, SkyTeam or Star Alliance, so there is no alliance-wide status recognition: the benefits that apply are the ones AerClub publishes.
Members join at Green and reach Silver, Platinum and Concierge by earning Tier Credits within a 12-month qualification period that renews on 1 April. The page's flight-count examples assume flights marketed and operated by Aer Lingus; the stored pages do not say whether partner flights earn Tier Credits. The table below sets out the published figures.
Aer Lingus AerClub tiers
Progression is based on Tier Credits earned within a 12-month qualification period, which renews annually on 1 April.
| Tier | Tier Credits required from zero | To retain |
|---|---|---|
| Silver | 301 | Same as to reach |
| Platinum | 601 | Same as to reach |
| Concierge | 1,051 | Same as to reach |
Keeping a tier is a different bar from reaching it. The last column is what Aer Lingus AerClub publishes for a member who already holds the tier, over a qualification window of the same length as the reaching figure’s (the window above says how it is anchored). “Same as to reach” means Aer Lingus AerClub says the same figure that reaches the tier keeps it. A dash means no retention figure comparable with the reaching one is shown for that rung, not that renewal is automatic; where the programme publishes one over a different window, its note gives it.
The page's flight-count examples assume flights marketed and operated by Aer Lingus; the stored pages do not say whether partner flights earn Tier Credits. The flight-count tables on the page are examples by fare type, not alternative routes to a tier: the Tier Credits are what count. AerClub publishes no separate figure for keeping a tier; it describes one set of figures for advancing and maintaining tiers, and this calculator treats them as the same. Aer Lingus does not publish how long a tier lasts after the qualification period, or any rollover or soft landing, so none is shown.

Frequently asked questions
- When does the AerClub qualification period start?
- AerClub says members earn Tier Credits during a 12-month qualification period, which renews annually on 1 April. The page does not state the end date.
- Which flights earn Tier Credits?
- A footnote under the page's flights-needed tables says all one-way flights must be marketed and operated by Aer Lingus, and the examples assume that. The stored pages do not say whether partner flights earn Tier Credits, so check your AerClub account.
- How do you keep an AerClub tier?
- AerClub publishes no separate figure for keeping a tier. Its page speaks of advancing and maintaining tiers and gives one set of figures, so the table treats the thresholds as the same to reach and to keep. How long a tier lasts, and whether anything rolls over or softens a fall, is not published.
- Can Status Lark calculate how many Tier Credits a flight earns?
- Not yet. Aer Lingus AerClub is not one of the programmes our earning calculator models, so this page covers the tier ladder only. The page's flights-needed tables show counts by fare type, not Tier Credits per flight.
Aer Lingus is not a member of Oneworld, SkyTeam or Star Alliance, so Aer Lingus AerClub status brings only the benefits the programme itself publishes.
