Asiana ceases operations on 17 December 2026 and leaves Star Alliance; elite tiers will be matched to equivalent Korean Air SKYPASS tiers. Rolling 24-month qualification window. Boarding alternative: Gold 30, Diamond 50, Diamond Plus 100. Own-metal earning uses Asiana's published class table, which differs between international and Korean domestic sectors (domestic zeroes fourteen letters, including J, D and Z). Not modelled, and unobservable from a booking letter: Asiana excludes any ticket discounted 50% or more off the regular fare. Verified at flyasiana.com, Aug 2026.
