EgyptAir Plus resets your qualifying balance when you reach a tier. The middle column is the total from a standing start; the last column is what a member who has just qualified for the tier below still has to earn.

Keeping a tier is a different bar from reaching it. The last column is what EgyptAir Plus publishes for a member who already holds the tier, over the same qualification window as the reaching figure. A dash means no retention figure comparable with the reaching one is shown for that rung, not that renewal is automatic; where the programme publishes one over a different window, its note gives it.

EgyptAir's ladder is sequential: each tier page gives its upgrade as Tier Miles earned after reaching the tier below and prints no total from a standing start, so the figures shown are our sums — Silver 30,000; Gold 60,000 (a further 30,000 within two years of Silver); Elite 360,000 (a further 300,000 within two years of Gold); Platinum 960,000 (a further 600,000 within three years of Elite). No window is published for Blue to Silver. Own-metal earning is one percentage per booking letter (business C, D, J, Z 200%; premium economy A 175%; economy Y, B 150%; M, Q, H, K 100%; V, L 50%; E, G, W, T, S 25%); P earns 75% on international flights (printed under EgyptAir's E-upgrade heading, so flagged unconfirmed; domestic P is unknown), and X, I, O, R, N and F earn nothing. Olympic Air earns no Tier Miles, and tier bonuses are Award miles only. Retention has its own figures and sector routes: Silver keeps at 15,000 Tier Miles or 16 sectors over two years; Gold needs 40,000 or 36 sectors over the same two years, higher than the 30,000 step, so it is harder to keep than to win; Elite (400,000 or 200 sectors over three years) and Platinum (800,000 over five) run over different windows.
