Keeping a tier is a different bar from reaching it. The last column is what Finnair Plus publishes for a member who already holds the tier, over the same qualification window as the reaching figure. “Same as to reach” means Finnair Plus says the same figure that reaches the tier keeps it. A dash means no retention figure comparable with the reaching one is shown for that rung, not that renewal is automatic; where the programme publishes one over a different window, its note gives it.

Requirements beyond the threshold

Platinum Lumo — At least 250,000 of the 300,000 Tier Points must be earned on Finnair-operated flights.

These apply in addition to the Tier Points figure, so reaching the number alone does not confer the tier.

Tier Points run over a 12-month tracking period anchored to your own join date; reaching a new tier does not restart it or reset your balance. Figures assume Basic tier (6 Tier Points per €1 on own metal): members from Silver to Platinum Lumo earn 7–10 per €1, AA, BA and IB flights carry a further tier bonus, and on Finnair's other partner airlines your tier adds a published uplift (Silver +10%, Gold +15%, Platinum and Platinum Lumo +25%) that is not modelled, so a member with status earns more than shown. On JAL, Tier Points depend on your own Finnair Plus tier rather than the booking class — Silver 25%, Gold 50%, Platinum and Platinum Lumo 100% of miles flown — and a Basic member earns none.
