Spend-based since 1 Apr 2025: 1 Tier Point per £1 of eligible spend (fare + carrier charges) on BA flights, plus a cabin/fare bonus. Gold Guest List needs 65,000 TP (≥52,000 from BA-marketed flights); renews at 40,000. Flight-count alternative routes: 25 flights with a BA code reaches Bronze, 50 reaches Silver (re-verified at source Aug 2026 — distinct from the removed minimum-flight requirements). Tier points expire at the end of each collection year (31 March) but accrue to lifetime tier points. Where British Airways cannot see the fare paid (some tickets sold by partner airlines or agents, and BA Holidays packages), it applies a distance-and-cabin fallback instead of the spend formula — figures here assume BA sees the fare you enter. The cabin/fare bonus is BA's 'extra tier points' scheme, which is now PERMANENT and automatic — no registration, no geographical exclusions — and since 1 April 2026 is set by cabin AND fare type rather than cabin alone; all 22 published values are modelled. Economy Basic fares earn no extra tier points at all — pick the 'Economy Basic' fare type and only the base spend earn applies (BA keys the bonus on cabin and fare type, never on booking class, so there is no Basic booking letter to select). Reward Flights and Avios upgrades are likewise excluded but have no schema key here. Short haul has exactly two cabins, Euro Traveller and Club Europe; BA publishes no short-haul Premium Economy or First rung at all, and the cabin-collapse rule in the terms (Premium Economy treated as Euro Traveller, First as Club Europe) governs American and Iberia metal, where it is modelled.
