Tier Credits are earned only on Saudia and SkyTeam partner flights, from flight distance and class of travel over the calendar year; the elite tier bonus applies to Reward Miles only. Saudia's own-metal earning is keyed on the fare brand, not the booking class, so choose the fare brand: a Saver-brand ticket earns nothing. We read Saudia's brand percentages as the Tier Credit rate on the strength of its own worked example (Jeddah–Dubai in Y, 1,048 Tier Credits at every tier); it is our reading rather than a rate Saudia states. The flight-count alternative is Silver 20 and Gold 40 sectors (maintain 15 and 30). A card runs to 31 December of the year after the year it was earned, and missing the retention bar drops you one level, effective 1 January. Saudia's partner charts give no Tier Credit figures, so credited partner flying shows an unknown rate.
