Keeping a tier is a different bar from reaching it. The last column is what EuroBonus publishes for a member who already holds the tier, over the same qualification window as the reaching figure. “Same as to reach” means EuroBonus says the same figure that reaches the tier keeps it. A dash means no retention figure comparable with the reaching one is shown for that rung, not that renewal is automatic; where the programme publishes one over a different window, its note gives it.
Level points count over a 12-month qualification period. We have previously said it runs from your own join month, with a 3-month grace period and nothing rolling over, but SAS's pages that we hold do not say so, so treat those details as unconfirmed. The flight-count alternative is Silver 10, Gold 45, Diamond 90 qualifying SAS flights within the period. Level points on partner-marketed SkyTeam flights, and on SAS-marketed codeshares operated by a SkyTeam partner, follow SAS's published formula — distance × (distance multiplier + booking-class multiplier) — so economy letters do earn. Classes a partner chart does not list earn nothing, and Singapore Airlines is the one non-SkyTeam partner that also earns Level points. TAP and Etihad earn Bonus points only.
