Keeping a tier is a different bar from reaching it. The last column is what Lotusmiles publishes for a member who already holds the tier, over the same qualification window as the reaching figure. “Same as to reach” means Lotusmiles says the same figure that reaches the tier keeps it. A dash means no retention figure comparable with the reaching one is shown for that rung, not that renewal is automatic; where the programme publishes one over a different window, its note gives it.

The segment alternative is Titanium 20, Gold 30, Platinum 50 qualifying sectors (increased from 1 July 2026); members aged 60+ receive a 20% reduction in the qualification thresholds. A Vietnam Airlines segment is not one flight: segments are weighted by distance and fare family, so a single 5,000-mile-plus sector counts as 12.0 segments in Business Flex, 2.0 in Economy Lite and 0.0 in Economy Super Lite. That route cannot be combined with a miles calculator, so it is described here and not computed. Booking class Q has its own carve-out: it earns the Economy Classic rate rather than Economy Lite between Vietnam and Australia, the United States and mainland China. The card also names Europe but the card does not say which countries Europe covers, so Q is understated on European routes, and a Q fare on any international route is shown as unverified; ANA, China Southern and Etihad earn bonus (award) miles only.
